Julian Daniel Hughes Sophmore Male Heterosexual
»The fat lard of a principal looked over his papers with a rather disinterested attitude. He noticed you sitting down, but doesn't really have the courtesy to look up from his desk. To you, he says out loud. "Let's begin sha'll we? Tell me the basic details about yourself." With a cough, he shuffled through is papers and glanced at you once through his small eye glasses.
A curly haired boy’s light blue eyes widened as he saw the fat principal. He couldn’t help but recall back to the time where he made stupid remarks to his father about how his principal might be fat but he didn’t ACTUALLY think he genuinely was. This was a rather pleasant surprise for him, though. A smirk crept along the boy’s lips as he analyzed the uninterested principal. Ooh, the jokes that’ll be told of you…, the boy told himself delightfully while adjusting himself in his chair. “Hullo, sir, name’s Julian Hughes. I’m soon to be a Sophmore at this.. well.. whatever you’d like to call it and I’m turning sixteen on the 10th of February,” Julian replied robotically. His father always wanted his family to have a good name and that meant sucking up to those in power… even if they were FAT and ODD-LOOKING. Julian couldn’t help but rolls his eyes at this point. He never understood why his father made him act like such a dumb ass! Nevertheless, he didn’t have a choice.. After all, his father was the one with the big mansion in California. A sigh passed his lips as he turned towards the clearly uninterested principal. He was really tempted to retaliate in some way but the only idea he could conjure up was pulling a ridiculous face. Julian grinned evilly as he pulled the dumbest face known to mankind.
»With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, threw his glasses on the desk and ran his chubby fingers through thinning, greasy hair. He pinched the nose of his bridge and closed his eyes tightly as he said, "You know about the truth of this place. Now, I didn't invite you personally, my staff did. So please, give me a run down of your power." With his eyes still shut, the principal gestured with one arm toward you to begin.
As soon as he saw the principal lean back in his chair, Julian stopped pulling the ridiculous face and sat up in his chair, hoping to god that the fat man didn’t notice what he just did. As he spoke about knowing the truth about this so called “school” a frown crept along his face. Course, you didn’t invite me personally thick head… my father bought me off to you dumb asses, Julian thought to himself spitefully as he glared at the principal. He couldn’t stand people like him… they were irrational, cruel and not to mention a BIG waste of space. “As I’m sure you already know,” said Julian while narrowing his eyes on the portfolio in the principal’s desk “I can locate anything you want, doesn’t matter where or what they are,” Julian continued while adjusting his blue t-shirt. “Although, it only comes in random bursts and not to mention I have no control over it,” He said dully as he stared at the principal, hoping that this interview would just finish already. There was no way Julian would tell him his life story… for all he knew, the principal could’ve been some asshole that was after his money or wanted to manipulate him so he could take advantage of his power.
»Finally, his eyes opened groggily. However, he wasn't much warmer. He yawned loudly and largely as he looked over your paper. With eyes watery and face red he continued, "I see why we would have invited you. Let's see..ah yes. Mind telling a bit about your family and where you're from?"
“Heh, it’s a bit complicated so I’ll keep it brief,” Julian replied while allowing a nervous chuckle pass his lips. Why the fuck do I have to tell this fat ass my life story… he’s not my therapist, Julian thought to himself as he glared at the man. “I was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. I moved around a lot because my dad’s some hot shot in some firm. I lived in England for a few years with my mom and yeah, parents divorced, now live with my dad and that’s my entire life summed up in just a few minutes,” Julian told him flatly. “I sincerely apologize if it bored you to death,” he added sarcastically while smiling sweetly at the principal. “Did you know that most of the obesity in America is due to Endocrine problems, “Julian added while looking around the room. “Just thought I might say that… you know as a passing comment,” He said while allowing a small smile come across his face. “You’re not fat or anything, just rather largely obese but I’m sure you’re aware of that,” Julian continued to smile as he said this while letting a nervous laugh pass his lips. Julian REALLY shouldn’t have said that and as he sat there in silence with the principal, he started to regret every second of it. Him and his big mouth! He had to really stop doing that! If his father heard about this… Julian gulped as he thought about his angry father. Fuck…. He’ll castrate me! Literally! Julian groaned loudly in frustration as he slapped his hand against his forehead. However, he soon stopped his brief moment to realize that he was still in the room being interviewed. “GAHH! SIR! Goddamnitimsosorry!” Julian said quickly while laughing nervously once more.
»While you were talking, the principal had made himself comfortable by leaning back in his chair and intertwining his fingers. "Hmpf. You should fit right in. May I ask, what are your plans in the future? Outside of AMG?
“Heh… well I haven’t really thought that far ahead sir, “Julian told him truthfully while rubbing the back of his head. “Although, I was considering taking a GAP year to South Africa or something before I decided,” He added while nodding at the principal. To be honest, Julian knew exactly what would happen as soon as he left. He wouldn’t have a choice but to follow into his father’s footsteps and be in charge of a multimillion dollar company but deep down, Julian didn’t want that. He would much rather live his life as some sleazy teacher that can’t afford to pay his bills rather than some rich guy who has the responsibility of dozens of people’s money. Julian cringed at the thought. However, money did have its advantages because Julian knew that when he turned eighteen, he’d have endless possibilities of getting working experience within any company that he pleased, thanks to his dad. That definitely appealed to Julian.
»He looks much more interested now, rather awake and in a slightly better mood. "Tell me, do you have any hobbies?" he inquired, creating soft jazz hands at the word 'hobbies' as if to mock it. "You're aware that it may be difficult to continue these on the island, as you may not leave outside of break?" It was more of a statement than a question.
Let’s see, I drink, smoke, do weed on occasions and spend most of my time partying… Julian thought to himself while staring blankly at the fat principal. He didn’t have a choice but to lie out of his ass on this question. “I spend most of my time reading and playing sports,” Julian replied calmly to him, his light blue eyes narrowing as he did. Julian didn’t like the particular manner in which he addressed the question. Julian would most definitely drink, smoke and party at this place and these people definitely weren’t stopping him!
»The principal crossed his fat arms and leaned on his desk. In a much more serious tone, he asked, "Be honest, child. How do you feel about all of this...supernatural stuff?" his shoulders shrugged as he said it.
“I’m a bit… on the sideline with the whole thing, really,” Julian said while nodding. He wasn’t particularly sure how he ended up with this power but he wasn’t exactly grateful for it either. This was because it landed him in this place and on top of that, made him more vulnerable to others because they just viewed him as some kind of human radar. Julian didn’t want to be seen like that. After all, he was human. In some ways, he kind of yearned for the regular life of a teenager but in other ways, he didn’t because his childhood was pretty wacky as it was. “Let’s just say… I don’t like to be taken advantage of,” Julian added while folding his arms across his chest. He didn’t and he was more than positive that people would deceive him enough to do so. He didn’t really trust others…
»He leaned back on the chair that squeaked under his weight. "I see. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Anyway, we're finished now." The Principal grunted loudly as he got up to shake your hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, do you have any questions for AMG?" he added, as he let go of your hand and buzzed the receptionist to lead you out.
“I do actually,” Julian said as he stood up and shook the principal’s hand. “What happens if we don’t master our powers?” Julian asked while tilting his head slightly. He noticed the principal quickly let go of his hand and quickly buzzed the receptionist. Julian had an inclination that this question of his really wouldn’t be answered anytime soon…
