life tastes better when you eat with your hands
Blood It was the life force that sustained almost every living thing. Blood was what kept regenerating to keep us alive. Blood was also Ace's curse. Blood, his own blood, was what he had complete power over. His regenerated at a faster rate than most humans, or gifted kids. He had never lost a fight due to blood loss. Hell, he lasted longer in most fights because he rarely bled. The only time you could make Ace bleed was when he needed to use blood as a weapon. He could make it move, make it harden, and turn it into any kind of weapon he could imagine. He was a freak. A monster. His pa left because he couldn't stand being around a freak.forget varsity football, his ability made him an outcast wherever he went.
But not here. This island was a big change, it was filled with freaks and monsters and the unnatural. But now they were all consentrated in one area. And island full if weapons. There was enough of them that if they wanted to take over the united states they could... Although they should probably start with canada, get the military power there, then head to the united states. Telepaths would be usefull... Those who had mind control, orcould shape shift into another person... But of course you couldn't forget about the human weapons... Like Aceand elementals, and so much more. The government was sitting on the most powerful army known to man... And they didn't even realize it. But Ace did... He realized it the second be had arrived.
He had left of his own free will, not realizing leaving the island was a big no-no. He hadn't said good byeto his ma, his very few friends, nobody knew if he was alive or dead. Maybe it was better this way, less heartache. He didn't want hisma exposed to the likes of him. She deserved the chance to start over, to have a good life...no matter how much Ace would miss her. He had a new game plan now. Start an uprising to show the world that hiding the things that went bump in the night wasn't going to make them go away.
For now, while he formulated his plan, he was going to have to bite his tongue and fake it. Get as many people thinking his way, rally up some of the most powerful students, and take over the island. Hey, you had to start somewhere right? In an island full of "heroes" Ace was going to be a villain. And villains always had more fun in the grand scheme of things.
The day had only just begun and Ace was feeling somewhat refreshed. The island still had msny secrets that were just waiting to be discovered and if he could plant even the tiniest seed of doubt into someones mind, then he'd be satisfied. When it came down to it, how many people would take his side? Heh, he'd just have to wait and see. He planned on spending the day getting his bearings, get the low down on the island and make sure he xouod recognize every inch. Which roads would be faster escapes, which buildings provided cover for his activities, which alleys were perfect for sulking in...and which route off the island would be the most discrete. He didn't plan on sticking around often, as long as he didn't get caught, he 'd be fine.
Tossing on his glasses on and grabbing his wallet, Ace made his way out of his dorm and onto the streets. He didn't look out of place on his own, at least he didn't think so. He knew appearances could be deceiving though. He didn't look southern, but his accent said otherwise. His pa never looked violent...but his temper said otherwise. Ace was more like his father than he wanted to be... Or wanted to admit. He didn’t quite know where he planned on going, he just knew that wandering seemed to lead to discovery in a lot of cases. He ended up wandering towards the AMG Hub’s lounge. It was a place most kids seemed to hang out at, and somewhere Ace could see himself spending a lot of time just kicking back. He was, remember, just a kid even if his ideals seemed a little…. Adult at times.
