Massy trudged down the dorm hallway in her pajamas, grumbling about Austin and Tony and Jared and how horrible they all were and how she couldn't believe she was friends either of the aforementioned bros.
Now, it isn't often that Massy will be seen with her hair in a bun and no lip gloss on, in her pajamas, all out in the open. In fact, she barely remembered to put her slippers on before she left to see Lucia. But she was in a terrible mood today. Well, not Massy, per say. But the chat room had gotten particularly bad and it had begun to make her feel nauseous. She wondered if it was affecting Lucia, too, since they had the same power. She hoped not. It was an awful feeling, and since Massy herself was in a rage, she was more vulnerable to letting others' feelings sink in.
But hanging out with Lucia and making brownies would ease the tension. Maybe Lucia knew ways to get rid of it, too. Oh, how Massy wished she could fix her own emotions.
Finally, she reached the other girl's room and went inside without even knocking. Lucia was still on her computer. Massy walked over and sat down next to her, folding her legs in and leaning against the older girl.
"What kind of brownies are we making?" she asked. As much as she loved Lucia, Massy had still yet to fall into that deep comfort zone where she could talk about her problems right away. With a little digging, she might complain a little, but she wouldn't get past that. In fact, she probably told Lucia more than anyone else. Massy really hated complaining, and even more, she hated people knowing that she was upset. So she just kept to herself.

[/style][style= background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/IyEuo.png); border: solid #b9b9b9 15px; width: 400px; height: 200px;] jingle bells, batman smells... Now, Lucia had grown up in a house-hold full of men, so most of the time, they didn’t bother her. Swearing? Pfft, her dad was a former Marine. She was pretty sure that it was a requirement for servicemen to swear. Zane had picked it up too, so it was amazing that she didn’t have a potty mouth herself. Oh, she did cuss here and there, but not like Austin some people. Dirty things? Again, having a brother who was five years older than you sort of cured you of any innocence, at least in Lucia’s case. Plus, there was the fact that she was incredibly dense, so most things, thankfully, flew right over her blonde head. Normally she’d be irritated about that, but when she was talking with those guys, well, she was definitely glad that she was a bit oblivious.
Hey, at least she was honest.
Lucia pushed herself back from her computer, rubbing her eyes. This chat was giving her one hell of a headache. It really sucked when you could feel the emotions of your friends through the computer, that was for sure. Lucia was pretty sure she had almost OD’d herself in Advil, and had left the bottle sitting on the computer desk for Massy when she came. The only reason Lucia wasn’t in an awful mood was because her blonde friend was coming over to bake brownies. It was a common fact that Lucia absolutely adored brownies. Especially when they were made with friends. Okay, it was cheesy, but things did taste better when you made them with someone else. Sue her for having a heart. So Lucia was pretty much ignoring everyone’s rapid fire emotions (with the help of pain meds, of course) in the favour of thinking about her wonderful friend called brownies.
And that’s when another wonderful friend decided to make her appearance. Massy was probably her best female friend, and if she were to be honest, Lucia absolutely adored the girl. She even had the same power as Lucia, meaning she related to her better than most. Lucia took one look at Massy and winced. Lucia patted the girl’s head as she leaned against her, smiling a bit. ”Hey there, girlie.” She looked like she had been through hell and back, about what Lucia felt. The blonde girl reached over and plopped the Advil in her lap, pushing a glass of water towards her. ”You all right, Massy?” she asked gently, knowing full well that Massy was in a terrible mood. But people didn’t like to have the pointed out to them, she had found out the hard way. Her green eyes brightened at the mention of brownies. ”Well, I have frosting if we want to go that way, or we can put chocolate chips in it…” TAGGED: Massy! | WORDS: 461 | OUTFIT | OOC: funness begins!

[/style][style= background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/IyEuo.png); border: solid #b9b9b9 15px; width: 400px; height: 200px;] Oh, the weather outside is frightful! Massy absolutely adored Lucia. One of her favorite things about the clumsy blonde was her tendency to treat Massy like an actual teenager, and not a child. She knew Lucia was just as protective of her as everyone else at the school, but she wasn't condescending about it. And, really, she knew everyone else didn't mean to be, but she still didn't like it sometimes. Besides that, Lucia was really sweet and funny. She was definitely one of Massy's closest friend, if not her best friend.
Massy looked up at Lucia and smiled, picking up on the concern. Massy always found that emotions were easier to feel whenever they were attached to her. Sort of like how you can see people holding hands, but you feel a whole lot happier about having someone hold yours. It was the same concept, and Massy was grateful more than ever for someone to relate to. Since they shared a power, Massy never had to attempt to explain what was going on. Lucia knew already. Besides, it was really really difficult to explain. Very complicated. She would feel like she was whining.
Massy took two Advil, then thanked Lucia before she responded to her question of concern. "I'm alright. Just feel like my head is spinning from everything going on in that chat room. I mean, just think; if it was that horrible online, how crap is it going to be if either of us ever meets him in real life?" Massy really didn't want to think about it. One time, she'd been a witness to a fight, and she'd had to call home because she had gotten sick all over the poor girl standing next to her. And that was just a measly little school yard fight in middle school. A full out argument, especially if Austin was mad at her, would be absolute hell.
Massy arched a curious eyebrow at the thought iced brownies. "Icing? Really? No one puts icing on brownies, except for maybe Little Debbie, but those taste like crap. So."
Massy can't cook, but she is really good at baking. She used to use it as a sort of vice to calm her nerves. Now, at school, there isn't a great big opportunity for it. She's always busy, and she never has time to buy ingredients. It's almost as bad as not being able to dance. It makes it harder for her to concentrate and block out other peoples' emotions, and lately she's been having trouble. Hopefully she could dance and bake a good bit over break. Get it out of her system a little. And when she got back, she would need to work on finding something else to ease the tension. Sounded like a pretty good game plan to Massy.
