Wendy isn't one to frequently say "I love you" or express gratitude in your home made gifts, but she very much feels both of those things. She has trouble expressing herself sometimes. Old fashioned, Wednesday turned the first floor of an old Victorian home into a funeral home while the upper floors served as the family's house. Unlike most, she can see the positive in the rumors of people with gifts and has hinted that if any of her children had gifts she would continue to support them.
FATHER; BENJAMIN SILAS VALKYRIE is not the kind of man you see having a more macabre wife. He was raised in a very strict household and thus tries to be more open with his kids. But often fails and has become quite over-protective over the years, especially of Claudia. He's a traditional gentleman with a big heart and an inability to say no to his kids. Living above a funeral home wasn't exactly normal but they didn't have abusive parents, they didn't move very frequently, or have a lot of trauma in the family. They were rather trauma free, really, unless you count the times when each f the Valkyrie siblings saw their first dead body in the basement. If you want to give him some sort of drama, like the death of a girlfriend or best friend or something, that is fine by me. Just keep in mind that their childhoods were very normal aside from their powers and their mother's profession. He would probably handle trauma in his teens differently knowing that he hasn't had a very eventful childhood.
